Featuring HC Early Career Fellow Jaida Hotmire (MPP ‘26)
Jaida Hotmire (MPP ’26) is using her 2026 Early Career Humanitarian Collaborative Fellowship to translate her studies in human rights, international development, corporate social responsibility, and anti-trafficking policy into real-world change. Next year, she will serve as a Field Office Fellow with the non-profit International Justice Mission (IJM) in Cambodia. Globally, IJM works to end violence and exploitation against people living in poverty. In the IJM Cambodia field office, the team focuses on combating forced labor and coercion by strengthening law enforcement and government responses to exploitation. As the Law Enforcement and Investigations Development Fellow, Jaida looks forward to gaining a close-up understanding of how local law enforcement and government systems function, and how NGOs and other external partners can effectively support sustainable, systems-level change.
The Humanitarian Collaborative will share Jaida’s updates next year. If you are interested in opportunities to stay connected and support her fellowship, visit her landing page.
