Touchstones of Democracy Series
The Humanitarian Collaborative is participating in the Nau Lab’s “Touchstones of Democracy” series, produced by the Karsh Institute of Democracy. The event titled, “Empowering Democratic Inclusion in a Globalized World,” will feature Archon Fung, director of the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School. He will discuss the book he recently edited, Empowering Affected Interests, exploring how the rules and norms of democracy might be reconfigured in a world defined by the increasing interdependence of countries, markets, and peoples.

Where: UVA’s Bond House
Lunch will be served starting 11:30 AM and Fung’s book will be available for purchase.
