HC Co-Sponsoring Film Screening for Welcoming Greater Charlottesville Welcoming Week 2025
As part of Welcoming Greater Charlottesville’s Welcoming Week 2025, the Humanitarian Collaborative is co-sponsoring a screening of the short film Running to Stand Still. The documentary addresses the humanitarian crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, highlighting the lived experiences of migrants and their stories of courage and dignity.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion with physician Brian Elmore, who is a Global Emergency Medicine Fellow at UVA and is featured in the film, and a Q&A session.
